What time does the race start?

The first wave of Pro Men for the Half will go off at 7:50am. The second wave will be the Female Pro’s which will go off at 7:52am. The Age Group Half waves will begin at 8:00am and will be spaced 5 minutes apart. The Olympic Age Group waves will begin at 8:40am.  Each wave will be separated by 5 minutes.

What is typical water temperature for the race?

In 2012 the water temp was 67.3 degrees on race morning.

Where is the best place to drop Athletes off on race morning?

At the Civic Center! There is no drop off zone at Darwin Wright Park. There is very limited parking near Darwin Wright Park.  Rev3 will be providing free shuttles from the Anderson Civic Center Rev3 Expo, to the swim start on race morning for athletes, families and spectators.  Park at the Civic Center and shuttle over.

Where is Spectator Parking?

There is no parking at T1 (swim start) but if you would like to drive to T1 to watch swim start you can park at Covenant Baptist Church on Manse Jolly Rd (across the street from Darwin Wright Park) All cars will need to be removed from the church parking lot by 10am.

If you park inside the Civic Center you will not be allowed to leave until 1:45pm. IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE BEFORE 1:45pm please park in the grass fields on Camson Rd across from the Civic Center. There will be signs marking all parking areas.

How can I track my athlete?

We will have multiple timing maps on the bike and run course. When your athlete crosses these mats their splits are sent to our servers in real time. You may stop by the Rev3 Timing Trailer (located in the Expo) at any time on race day to look for your athletes splits! 2 Separate computers with 40 inch screens will be available for all spectators to use. If you are not watching on site friends and families can still tune in at www.rev3tri.com/live and click the Live link so get updates from your athlete.

Do we have access to any post race activities?

The finish line will be the place to be! We will have post race food for athletes. Vendors will be available for spectators to purchase food. The Rev3 Kids’ Zone will also be open.

Where will medical tents be located?

Medical tents will be located at the Finish line. Please see any Rev3 volunteer for more information and look for the red flag that says Medical.
