Overview:

The swim will be a beach start starting from the beautiful white beaches of Playa Conchal. You will be swimming in the Pacific Ocean but in a protected cove with typical calm conditions.  Water temperatures typically hover around 80 degrees during this time of the year.

Overview:

The transition area will be located in a parking lot of Reserva Conchal resort (host venue), a short run from the water.  The first mile will be the toughest part of the bike course, with a challenging but short climb to exit the resort.  Once onto the well paved roads, the bike course is mostly flat and will be fast.  All of the courses will be an out and back towards Playa Grande.

• Oly REV = x2 loops
• Half REV = x3 loops

Once back to transition, the run will feature a variety of sceneries and surfaces from hard packed sand, dirt, and pavement.  The run course starts along the Pacific Ocean, runs through a typical Costa Rican village, and back through the resort.  The run will be up to 3 circuits if competing in the Half Rev.

REV3 Costa Rica will take place in the Central Pacific region of Guanacaste. You will witness amazing beauty, wildlife, and terrific weather as you race.  REV3 Costa Rica will offer a series of triathlons for kids aged 9-13, Sprint Rev,  Olympic Rev, and a Half Rev.  In addition to some great racing, there will be a ton of fun things to do for the entire family.
