At Athlete’s Touch, our Massage Therapists specialize in the care, rehabilitation and prevention of muscle tendon injuries and other soft tissue complaints resulting from overuse or sports related injuries. Our approach is client centered, and we perceive massage to be an interactive process between the therapist and client. We are dedicated to supporting our clients in meeting their goals, be they injury recovery, personal growth, or athletic performance.
We understand the challenge of balancing part time athletics with a full time personal and professional life. We strongly believe that massage therapy can play a vital role in overcoming that challenge through its ability to reduce recovery time, restore optimum function, prevent injuries and maximize performance.

Kevin Mackell, LMT
I received my professional training at Seacoast Career Schools where I graduated from the 900 hour Massage Therapy program at the top of my class academically. I’m a member of the Maine Sports Massage Team and provided Sports Massage to finishers of the 2011 Boston Marathon.
I’m a life-long Maine resident and currently live with my wife and children in Arundel, where I also coach Little League, am a member of the Kennebunk Beach Triathlon Club. I’m a recreational triathlete, and have completed both the Peaks to Portland 2.4 mile open-water swim and the Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race. I’m currently training for a Half-Ironman Triathlon in 2012.

Todd Turgeon, LMT
I received my 900 hour Professional Training from Seacoast Career Schools. I have volunteered as a Sports Massage Therapist at the Beach to Beacon 10k and the Maine Marathon – performing pre and post race massages.
I became interested in massage therapy after receiving massage services for an injury I sustained. I became a believer in not only the healing power but also the long-term benefits and injury prevention that massage provides, and wanted to personally help others in this way. I am particularly interested in helping athletes speed recovery times and maintain their active lifestyle.
