sheJAMs Olympic REV
Why a race within a race?
Julie Marchese is the Co-Founder of the very successful Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for a Cure All Women’s Sprint Triathlon. This race is in it’s 5th year and it is time for some of these women to spread their wings to an Olympic Triathlon.

Partnering with REV3 is a dream come true. This venue will allow the tradition of an All Women’s Race to Kick Cancer to spread it wings into the Olympic field. What a great partner to have! We are very excited to have 300 lucky women race at this amazing venue to make a difference!

What does this benefit?
This race will benefit Maine Cancer Foundation Maine Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well being of Maine people by funding cancer research, education and patient support programs. 100% of the funds raised remain in Maine.
Maine Cancer Foundation believes the greatest potential for progress is in scientific research. Well-funded research will unlock the remaining mysteries. The Human Genome Project has informed the 21st Century like no other time in history, heralding astonishing advancements. Cancers that ten years ago were largely untreatable are now survivable. Much more is possible but only if the brightest minds remain at work.
Who is sheJAMs?
sheJAMs was created by four friends, Julie, Andrea and Melissa and Coreen to bring together women of all ages and abilities who enjoy being active. This club creates a social atmosphere for women to train together in a non-competitive spirit, to feed off of each other’s experiences, to share our accomplishments, and revel in the energy that a group of women with common interests can generate! Why not train with us, race with us and raise money with us to make a difference in our community!
