Athletes ages 7-15 can join in the fun! They will swim, bike and run in the Quassy Kids Triathlon! This will be a fun and safe event for your kids. The swim takes place in the shallow waters of Lake Quassapaug and the bike and run will be on closed roads to ensure all athletes are safe, they will finish their day with a sprint down the Rev3 finish chute, just like the pros! The Quassy Kids Rev is great for the first timer and for the seasoned younger triathlete.
***Race Day Packet Pick up is available from 5am-5:50am. There is a $35 fee for this, Please sign up here and we will have your packet and timing chip ready to go on race morning.

The swim will take place in beautiful Lake Quassapaug just off the swimming beach of Quassy Amusement park. Kids 7-10 will swim a quick 100-meters to the exit while 11-15 year old’s will swim two-loops for a total of 200-meters. All safety support from the 1.2-mile adult race will enclose the kids course to provide a uniquely safe swim environment. Quassy beach welcomes you home and sends you on a fun transition run through the Amusement Park.
Swim Course: Kids Age 7-10 (100m)
Swim Course: Kids Age 11-15 (200m – 2 loops)
After a short run up from the lake, athletes will hop on their bikes and exit Quassy Amusement park onto Middlebury Rd which will already be closed to traffic for the adult race. 7-10 year old’s will ride on loop of the 4K out and back course with a slight hill coming back to the park. Kids 11-15 will turn around near the entrance of the park to repeat the loop, finishing the 8K course back at the transition area. Follow the signs and the cheering voices as you make your way back to transition and Quassy Amusement Park.
Bike Course: Kids Age 7-10 (4k)
Bike Course: Kids Age 11-15 (8k)
The flat run course for the Kids Rev heads back out of the park onto Middlebury Rd and down to the turnaround at the corner of Old Woodbury Rd. Once again, the older kids will get to enjoy two-loops of the course. Kids of all ages will love the sprint down the Rev3 finish chute where spectators, friends and family can join them on their last push to the finish line.
