Athlete Check In

Step 1:

There will be a board next to the Registration Tent that will have everyone’s name and bib number on it. You will need to look up your bib number before getting your packet.

Step 2:

Once you have your bib number you can get in line at the registration tent to pick up your packet.

Athlete check in and packet pick up will be on:

  • Friday May 23, 2014 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
  • Saturday May 24, 2014 from 7:30am to 3:00pm

 

Please be sure to bring photo identification with you to receive your packets.  Please bring your USAT card to show proof of current USAT membership or $12 to purchase a one-day license. If you are a USAT member and forget your card you will be required to sign the USAT wavier and purchase a one-day license. If you are a professional athlete you are required to submit proof of professional status at check-in.

**All Relays** You MUST check in as a team. You will not be allowed to check in for other members of your relay. This is to ensure the entire team fills out the correct waivers.

If you do not check in during the designated hours you will not be able to race.

At Check In you will receive the following:

  • Athlete Wristband
  • Race Number Stickers and Bib
  • Swim Cap
  • Race Number Tattoo
  • Athlete Bin (you will need to label this with your bib number sticker)

Step 3:

You will then need to go to the TIMING TRAILER to pick up your timing chip and verify all of your athlete information. If you do not have a chip you will not be able to race.

Step 4:

You will go to the retail tent to pick up your SWAG Bag. In your SWAG bag you will find you participant shirt and other goodies from our sponsors.

Expo

What a Rush!  While you’re attending the inaugural Rev3 Rush Expo, there will be plenty for you to do & see!  If you’re waiting on your heat, recovering from your race, or in between watching your athlete race we’ll have fun activities for fans of all ages.  Activities will include a mini race track, mechanical bull riding, pit stop challenge, DJ, remote control car races, Monkey Motion trampoline, and more  Spectators and athletes are welcome to bring your tents and set up all day (tents may be left overnight, but no overnight camping is allowed inside the racetrack).  Food and vending will be available or pack a picnic for your family & friends!  Please remember these simple guidelines and come prepared for a weekend of fun!

*Attractions will be $2 a ride, or you can purchase one all weekend pass for $20.

YES:

  • One soft-sided cooler, no larger than 14x14x14 inches.
  • Coolers may contain ice.
  • Fans may utilize lightweight backpacks or daypacks (limit of one per person).
  • Food and beverages brought in approved bags/coolers.
  • Binoculars, scanners, headsets and cameras can be carried separately into the grandstands.
  • Personal use video cameras are permitted, but no commercial reproduction of footage is allowed without written permission from RIR and NASCAR licensing officials.
  • FUN!

NO:

  • Coolers with telescoping handles, wheels, hard sides.
  • Seat cushions with arm rests.
  • Flag poles of any kind.
  • Firearms and fireworks.
  • Glass containers and insulated cups.
  • Pets.
  • Beach balls.
  • Strollers.
  • Umbrellas of any size.
  • Overnight camping inside raceway
  • Items restricted by local, state or federal laws

Optional Bike Check

All athletes will stage their bikes in transition. You have the option of checking your bike into transition on Friday evening or Saturday morning. If you would like you can take your bike out of transition Saturday evening, but we highly recommend you leave your bike overnight if you plan on racing on Sunday. We will have overnight security for all bikes. If you would like to check your bike into transition you will need to make sure you put your bike in your marked bike rack space. You will also need to make sure your bike is labeled with your bike sticker.

Only athletes will be allowed in the transition area, in order to enter the transition area you will need to show your athlete wristband.

You will be able to take your bikes out of transition on Saturday and Sunday morning during the warm up session from 7:30am to 8:15am.

If you would like to check your bike into transition on Friday evening you can do so from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
