Revolution3 Welcome’s you to Williamsburg, Virginia! This will be our inaugural Olympic and Half Distance Triathlon in Williamsburg and we thank you for joining us! We look forward to bringing you a great race and exciting fun filled weekend.

Thank you for choosing Revolution3. Our goal at Rev3 is to maximize the enjoyment for everyone at the race, and this includes the spectators! So, whether you’re competing, volunteering, or spectating, we intend to make it a memorable experience. If we can do anything to help you, please let any staff member know and we will do our best to make your experience a better one.

There is so much going on though out the weekend. Be sure to read the enclosed Schedule of Events that includes swim practices, course overviews, Expo details, fun kid’s activities and ALL of the important race day details.

Athlete Check In


Athlete Check In and Packet Pick Up will take place at the Rev3 Expo located at:

William and Mary 
751 Ukrop Way
Williamsburg, VA 23185

Check In Times are as follows:

  • Friday: 3:00pm- 7:00pm
  • Saturday: 10:00am-7:00am

Step 1:

There will be a board next to the Registration Tent that will have everyone’s name and bib number on it. You will need to look up your bib number before getting your packet.

Step 2:

Once you have you bib number you can get in line at the registration tent to pick up your packet.

There will be NO race day check in.

Please be sure to bring photo identification with you to receive your packets.  Please bring your USAT card to show proof of current USAT membership or $12 to purchase a one-day license. If you purchased a one day license online we will have proof of your purchase on site.

If you are a USAT member and forget your card you will be required to sign the USAT wavier and purchase a one-day license. If you are a professional athlete you are required to submit proof of professional status at check-in.

**All Relays** You MUST check in as a team. You will not be allowed to check in for other members of your relay. This is to ensure the entire team fills out the correct waivers.

If you do not check in during the designated hours you will not be able to race.

At Check In you will receive the following:

  • Athlete Wristband
  • Race Number Bib
  • Four Stickers (long one for your bike, 1 for your helmet, 1 for your swim to bike bag, 1 for your dry clothes bag)
  • Swim Cap
  • Course Maps
  • Race Number Tattoo (you will get two arm tattoos, one hand tattoo,  and your age numbers tattoos)
  • Swim to Bike Bag
  • Dry Clothes Bag

Step 3:

You will then need to go to the TIMING TRAILER to pick up your timing chip. If you do not have a chip you will not be able to race. If you are registered as an Athena (165 lbs+) or Clydesdale (220 lbs+), you will weigh-in here.

Step 4:

You will go to the retail tent to pick up your SWAG Bag. In your SWAG bag you will find you participant visor and other goodies from our sponsors. Please note every athlete will also receive  A FREE finisher photo. After the race you will be sent an e-mail with a link to download your finisher photo and print. So when you round the corner to finish make sure your bib is in sight and you are smiling BIG!!

Parking & Shuttle

Parking can be limited on the William & Mary Campus but there are quite few lots to choose from as shown on the map below. On Race Morning, a shuttle will run from the Law School Lot to and from the Expo/T2 area from 4:30am to 6:30am and then again from Noon to 4:00pm.

The School of Education Lot is a short 1/3mile walk from Expo/T2.

Athletes and spectators who choose to park on Brooks Street along T2 will not be able to get their vehicles out until after 3:00pm, however parking on Brooks Street around William&Mary Hall will be able to exit via Ukrop way.

Once you have set up your transition area in T2 there will be buses to take athletes and spectators down to T1/Swim Start at Jamestown Beach from 4:45 – 8:30am. There will NOT be transportation back to T1 after the race. There WILL be parking for spectators and family near the swim start should they prefer to drive themselves.
