There are train tracks at the 25-mile mark which may require athletes to stop for train traffic. After crossing the tracks, cyclist will do a straight 12-mile stretch on Rte 60 before turning at Anderson’s Corner and then onto Forge Rd where the roads get very quiet but continue to be flat. After the turn around at the abandoned Golf Course on Diascund Rd, cyclists will head towards T2 via rolling terrain on Little Creek Dam Rd, Cranston Mill Pond Rd and finally onto Jolly Pond Rd. The last 5-miles are a flat. comfortable ride into T2.
