Overview:

Colonial Williamsburg, the nation’s largest living history museum that introduces visitors to life in 18th century America. The historic Jamestown Island and Yorktown Battlefield are nearby, earning Williamsburg the nickname of the “Historic Triangle.” Visitors may also jump into modern times with a visit to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, which has over 350 acres of roller coasters, water parks, rides and attractions. Laser tag, haunted dinner theatres, bowling alleys and more are a part of the area, where there really is something for everyone!

Safety Plan/Policy:

All athletes are required to wear race numbers at all times during the run:

  • Numbers clearly visible at all times
  • Numbers may not be cut or folded or altered in any way
  • Numbers designated to other other athletes make not be used

Penalty: Variable time penalty for missing or altered number, Disqualification and membership in USAT for transferring a number without race director permission.

Audio players are not to be carried or worn at any time during the race:

  • ear buds, headphones, headsets
  • walkmans, ipods, mp3 players
  • any personal audio devices

Penalty: Variable time penalty

All personal equipment and belongings taken out onto the course must stay on the athlete the entire time. No garbage, clothing, etc. shall be thrown on the course.
