Do you feel the love and maybe a little left over “off season” sweetness too? Valentine’s Day is coming soon and the race season has begun, no worries, you can spread the love of both healthy sweetness for the holiday and keeping fit for sport. Here is a little recipe from my kitchen to yours!

Minty Mommas

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 2 cups dates (without the pit)
  • ¼ cup carob powder
  • Liquid mint (sold most all stores next to vanilla). I use 3 nice drops, you can use more or less depending on your taste buds.

Put all the ingredients into the food processor and slowly process until the mixture becomes clumpy. Roll into little balls. Keep balls in the refrigerator. ENJOY & Happy Valentines Day!!

Calories: roughly 100 per ball, that should make your honey happy!
