There are no refunds on this event.
Race deferral and cancellation policies:
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds if you are unable to participate in the event. We have always implemented this no refund policy. If you are unable to travel, become ill, have a family illness or emergency, or decide not to participate, there are NO REFUNDS. With our planning and production of this event, we incur significant costs for rent, storage, utilities, insurance, staff, marketing, medals, t-shirts, bibs, etc. months in advance of the event. Some of these costs are fixed and are incurred no matter what happens. When you register, a portion of the fee pays for year-round operational expenses and to produce the event.
What happens if the race doesn’t take place?
A. The event is canceled on race day or race weekend due to weather, Acts of God, or other public emergency situations (non-COVID event):
We do not offer refunds if the event is canceled on race day or race weekend due to weather, Acts of God, or other public emergency situations. We have always implemented this no refund policy. This policy is consistent with most races across the country. The planning and production of this event incurs costs for rent, storage, utilities, insurance, staff, marketing, medals, t-shirts, bibs, etc. months in advance of the event. If the event is not able to occur at the time of the event or race weekend due to these uncontrollable circumstances, we are not able to issue you a refund. Our goal is always to hold the event rain or shine, hot or cold, as long as your safety, and the safety or our staff, volunteers, vendors and municipalities are not jeopardized. At that late stage, unfortunately, all of our costs will have been incurred and we cannot offer a refund, deferral or transfer to another race. We will issue a discount to a future race.
B. The event is canceled by government agencies in advance due to COVID-19 or other similar public health concerns:
You will be able to choose one of the following options:
- Choose to participate in the corresponding Virtual Event.
- Defer your entry to 2022.
- Transfer to another event in 2021.
Can I run Virtually instead?
You can elect to participate in any of our events virtually at the time of registration, or by transferring your registration to a virtual event any time prior to 30 days before the event. We will ship virtual swag out by USPS as soon as possible, but most likely AFTER the event date.
If you come to find you are unable to race due to medical reasons or a simple change of schedule, you may defer your general race entry slot to the same race the following year. Deferrals do not carry over beyond the following year’s race. This credit only covers your race entry fee. USAT one day passes, processing fees, and online registration fees will not be included in your credit. In order to defer your registration, you will need to e-mail us, in advance pursuant to the timelines below, at Info@rev3tri.com with your Full Name, Race Venue, and Race Distance.
- You can defer your entry until – 30 days before race day for a $25 fee; and
- You can defer your entry from – within 30 days of race day to the day before the race for a $50 fee.
Athletes wishing to defer, will be provided with a unique entry code once registration opens for the following year and must re-register for the event when entries open for the following year’s event. Your entry slot is not guaranteed. You will not be allowed to register if the race closes before you attempt to register for the new race. Deferred entries must be used the following year and cannot be transferred to other athletes. If for some reason the race does not take place the following year, you will have the option to choose another one of the Rev3 events, and you will NOT be refunded your entry fee from the previous year.
